What Veilo does
Veilo is an AI-powered inbox routing assistant. It connects to your Gmail and Slack accounts and automatically routes incoming messages to the right person or team based on rules you define. Veilo reads messages, classifies them using AI, and takes action on your behalf.
What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Your name and email address when you create an account
- Activity metadata: sender address, email subject, classification label, action taken, and timestamp
- Routing rules you create
What we do NOT store
We never store the content of your messages. When Veilo reads an email or message to classify it, the message content passes through our AI service for processing and is immediately discarded. Only the metadata listed above is saved to our database.
How we use your data
- To authenticate your account and keep you logged in
- To connect to Gmail and Slack on your behalf
- To classify incoming messages
- To execute routing actions (forwarding, auto-replying) based on your rules
- To show you your activity log
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties.
Gmail and Google API access
Veilo's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum scopes necessary: reading emails and sending emails on your behalf. We do not use Google user data to serve advertising.
Your rights
- You can disconnect any channel at any time from your dashboard
- You can delete your account and all associated data
- You can view all actions Veilo has taken in your Activity log
Security
Tokens are stored encrypted. Message content is never written to disk or stored in any database. We follow industry-standard security practices.
